The Making of a Convention Booth

It all starts with a barren piece of carpet. First, all of the tables get placed.

While we waited for our crates to be delivered, we put discount fliers in the hundreds of catalogs.
The large banners are put together.
This time we had some husbands to set up the electric and technology.
Others set up the book shelves and books and vacuumed.
With so many helping, we finished in 3 hours.

Once the vendor hall opens there are many hours of standing and talking. I do enjoy when customers have genuine questions that I can answer from my own experience.

When it is time to tear down, the books get put away first. We had SO much help this time and everyone had worked a convention before. Everything was torn down in 1 hour 5 minutes. It could be a convention record!

Everything gets packed in the crates in a specific order so that it all fits perfectly.
The labels are taped on every side of the crate for it to be shipped to the next convention site. And we're done!
