Pocomoke River Church

Tonight (yes, Saturday evening) was the first public meeting of Pocomoke River Church. This is a church that my father pastors and my mother co-pastors. It has met in his house for several years and he has finally taken the plunge to meet publicly.

It was not a huge group, but more than usual and some new people. On the surface it may not have seemed that anything extraordinary happened. But I know that one person in attendance usually spends his Saturday evenings at the bar and the person who invited him didn't think he would show up. But he did. I'd say that counts in the extraordinary category! And someone else engaged Dad is a conversation on salvation. Two checks in the extraordinary category and those are only obvious ones!

It was really nice to see Dad "behind the pulpit" again. Looking forward to next week....

I agree! and by the way our guest said he would be back next week. He really liked the music. I think a lot was happening in that little group.
